This past weekend my friend Mariel and I went down to San Diego to visit our friend Alissa, who’s in grad school right now. It was really nice to have some of the old gang reassembled! It felt so nice and Southern California-y – the sun was out, the weather was beautiful, we ate fresh fish by the ocean. It perfectly encompassed everything I miss so much about Southern California.
