On Tuesday I went to the Getty with Tristan and Mariel. The Getty is so amazing; it feels like a total oasis. Despite being pretty awesome, the exhibits are hardly the main attraction. Just being there is so inspiring.
Also, since coming home I’ve been driving again for the first time in months. One of the things I miss most about driving is listening to music – there’s something so soothing and kind of beautiful about it, even when there’s terrible traffic. As silly as it sounds, I always do my best thinking when I’m driving, and I’ve come up with many an idea while on the freeway. Anyway, I’ve been rediscovering a lot of old mixes of mine, so I thought I’d share one. When my boyfriend and I first started going out, we’d make mixes for each other, which is a tradition we still continue (although I’ve been a little unproductive on that front lately…) This is one of the first ones I made for him in May 2010. I can’t believe how long ago that is now!
